The price of pizza is out of control. I’m not referring to the frozen pizza you find in your supermarket or the well-known pizza chains which is all garbage to this Jersey boy. I’m talking about the neighborhood pizza joint that makes it from scratch. The other day I ordered a medium pizza with two extra toppings for a whopping $23.64 without a tip. To have it delivered? Tack on at least $2.50 delivery charge and then a tip for the driver. Five years ago, I was paying closer to $12.00. Not disputing their expenses or reasons, as they shouldn’t dispute what’s available in my wallet. I say enough is enough.
