For making almond butter, there are a few alternatives to coconut oil that you can use: Olive oil: Olive oil is a great option for making almond butter. It has a mild flavor that won’t overpower the almond taste, and it’s high in healthy monounsaturated fats. Use a light-tasting olive oil for the best results. Avocado oil: Avocado oil is another good option for making almond butter. It has a neutral flavor and a high smoke point, making it a great choice for high-heat blending. Grapeseed oil: Grapeseed oil is another neutral-tasting oil that works well for making almond butter. It has a high smoke point and is rich in healthy fats and antioxidants. Almond oil: If you’re looking for an oil with a similar flavor profile to almonds, you can use almond oil instead of coconut oil. It’s high in healthy fats and has a light, nutty flavor that complements the almonds. Sunflower oil: Sunflower oil is a mild-tasting oil that’s also a good option for making almond butter. It’s high in healthy fats and has a high smoke point, making it suitable for high-heat blending. Note that you can also make almond butter without any oil at all, but it may be more difficult to achieve a smooth and creamy texture.
